Born from the belief that beauty should be as kind as it is timeless, Aroda brings India’s traditional wear—from flowing sarees and tailored blouses to elegant kurtis and salwars—to women and girls who seek both heritage and harmony. At Aroda, we don't just design garments. We weave values.
Our Story
Aroda was born from a turning point. As two sisters deeply committed to the environment, we spent years raising awareness about climate issues but change felt slow. One Sunday, An Event in Bangalore on natural dyes shifted our path. We discovered the harsh truths of fast fashion: Exploitation of water resources, water pollution, toxic chemicals, and unfair labor. That moment was when we asked each other “What if fashion itself became part of the solution?” and Aroda, a brand where fashion becomes part of the solution was born. With backgrounds in architecture, and community work, we decided to build something lasting. We named our venture Aroda, the Kodava word for “Home”. The name felt perfect. We believe that Our bodies are our sacred home, deserving fabrics that nourish and do no harm. And our planet is the home we all share, calling us to live lightly. Aroda would honor both.
